Is going to the Philippine Military Academy and a career in the Armed Force of the Philippines worth it?

I'm currently recognized as an ROTC cadet officer in the PAF reserve and I'm considering going to the Philippine Military Academy after I finish college, perhaps even get to the United States Military Academy through the international cadet program, then come back to the Philippines and serve as a commissioned officer in the AFP. I come from a prestigious institution in the country and I'm sure getting a job straight out of college or starting a business of my own won't be quite as difficult. Is it still worth serving the country's military amidst all the issues of corruption, mediocrity and monopoly? Or should I just start my own business/ go to law school?

Do I get my RN in the process of getting my BSN for Nursing?

to be an RN (registered nurse), you have to p the NCLEX-RN and obtain your RN license. you are qualified to take the exam only after finishing a nursing program. it doesnt really matter the length of time of the program as long as it's accredited. meaning, if youre only after the RN license, then a two year program (AS) will suffice. but if you want to move up and youre thinking of going into administration or getting a masters degree on a nursing specialty later on, then you'd have to get a bachelors degree (doesnt really have to be a BSN but if youre already studying nursing then might as well). hope that helps. good luck!

How do I move on from my first love?

So, basically, I was with this guy for a year and a couple of months. Three days ago, he decided to break up with me because I told him that I wasn't sure if I was going to be moving to where he lives for college. It's a long distanced relationship. I told him that because I was scared that it wouldn't work out but I didn't tell him that until last night. The night that I told him I might not come, he just broke up with me. That night, I saw that he had commented this girl that is his "best friend" and he said that he missed her and loved her and they should hang out soon. I have always been jealous of their relationship and now I feel like he left me for her? It hurts so badly, I can't stop crying. I don't eat or sleep because of this for these past couple of days. He wants to be just friends and he acts like nothing has happened. But I can't get over it. He hears me crying and says he's sorry. When asked why he is, he says Because I can stop the pain. So, when I asked him why isn't he, he replies I can't, I'm sorry. Then, he calls me a liar because I did not tell him everything in the first place and it could have all been avoided and I need to grow a backbone. I don't know what to do anymore. I love him with all my heart... It just hurts so badly to hear him act like we've never told each other how much we mean to one another.

okay, I love my mom and she is an amazing mother. so im not trying to bash her, more like I just need to vent. ok, i'm 19 and when I was in 3rd grade my thyroid died so I gained a lot of weight. well it didnt get discovered til I was 12 or 13. well my mom would always say i needed to get thinner but she wasnt crazy about it. I ended uo losing a lot of weight on my own. and when I was in 10th grade, I was a little chubby but nothing too bad. well my boyfriend at the time left me for my best friend and said it was cause she had a better body (and because she put out) well I had felt like the while word was against me so i turned to my mom. ever since then she has pretty much freaked out every single time I eat! If she sees me eating breakfast she'll say things like 'alright, no more food the rest of the day. you dont wanna be fat again do you?' even on thnksgiving she told me not to eat more than one slice of turkey and veggies! I'm 19! I'm thin now and shes scared I'll get fat again,

she isnt REALLY bipolar but OMG!!!!!! I am a Christian and we believe that you get a final chance for repent in The Final Judgement. But you cannot sin and at the moment of The Final Judgement, just ask for forgiveness, for we see that as hypocrism and God frowns upon hypocrism. But yes, if you are truly sorry for the people you hurt, God will forgive as he is a forgiving God.

Why do they turn such a great singer as Alexandra Burke into a cheap pop-doll?

I really, really lover her voice but I just listened to her new album and I'm absolutely disappointed. It's not her fault that she has to sing these crappy songs but why don't they give her some real music to sing?? This is ridiculous - why does X-Factor need such great singers to sing their cheap and boring pop-songs? Even Britney's songs are better (although Alexandra is a thousand times better when it comes to singing)
