Looking for a suggestion on a flowering plant...?

I have a lot of green shrubs and plants in the front yard. Aside from a hanging basket with some petunias in it, there is very little color up front. I would like to plant flowers or a flowering bush to liven up the front of the house. Pink, white, or blue would be great. Had considered peonies but I'm looking for something that is continously flowering all summer rather than just a spring bloom. The front of the house faces north. I'm in Minnesota. The new plants would be located directly in front of the house. The eaves extend about 3 feet. So the area is shaded most of the day. In the peak of summer it will get about 3 hours of direct sun. Otherwise it's just getting ambient light.

C++, runtime check #3, variable being used without initialization?

I am using C++ to write a program and it is telling me that i have used a variable without initializing it first. initializing the variable just means that it is declared and has some sort of value over it. i don't want to put a numerical value because then that value stays say, 0. i have it set to a function, but thats where the problem is.

We have 3 cats. One is a girl, the other two are guys. My cat, the girl is second youngest. And for some reason, and it just started today, she walks on her back and front legs, and slumps her belly down like somethings wrong with her back? Or her stomach? She usually bites and scratches, but she has been nice and cuddly lately. She doesn't have a bigger stomach or swollen , so I don't think she is pregnant. When she lays down she keeps scooting forward and has her in the air, and never lets her lay down. I kept petting her, and she rarely purrs, and she has been purring a lot, and for no reason at all lately. I don't know if something is wrong with her back, if she is "frisky", or what..also my littlest cat, a few months old, and my girl cat like playing together,but my oldest cat, a year old, and my girl cat don't like each other, he always try's to hump her, and she scratches him. She applied for disability and was turned down but perhaps it was because i am the main wage earner and have been. She was only working part time. Your situation might be different. My 2003 Sony Vaio XP Home desktop (w/a 500G WD ext. Hard Drive) is running out of memory---11% left---even though I put most apps and photos on the ext. drive. It has been dropping for quite awhile, and I read to check the Virtual Memory usage in Task Manager for the biggest usage. That is apx. 150, 000 for IE with my name as the user, followed by 2 ccsvchst.exe's with the first as SYSTEM, and the 2nd as me as the user. I believe the last 2 are Norton? They run 40,000 and 28,000 respectively. I've used Glary Utilities to clean up and have removed several programs. It's as if I don't have an external Hard Drive, almost like everything is going onto the C: drive, but it's not showing anyplace but the external G: drive. Is there any way to find the problem, or is it that my PC is just worn out or what? Thanks for any help.

Some cool and clever ways to come up with names for things, such as people names and country names, in stories are to use anagrams, that is rearranging a word or phrase into one word which you can use to mask a term, in which you are making slight references to. I am confused and would like the opinion of a complete stranger. Someone REALLY close to me is incarcerated. They are there because they physically harmed me. When the event took place, they were hallucinating and were delusional. I thought they may have been on drugs. Later we found out they are Manic-Depressive (Bipolar). That person didn't know it and neither did I. After researching, I learned that hallucinations, not sleeping, not eating, loss of ual desire so on are part of the symptoms. Should I tell my boss something disturbing I found out on the internet about my coworker?

I work management in a retail drug store in NJ. Three weeks ago some creep stole the money from the girlscouts selling cookis out front the store. Me and my ociate (who we will call Moe Lester) handled the problem and wound up getting a little publicity on the deal. I heard the other day they caught the theif. I wanted to find an article on it so I typed in some keywords into google. After not finding anything on it I was desperate to find any article on it. I typed in his name followed by "young girlscouts" then the name of our town and the arrest. I finally got news articleson my search but it wasnt at all what I excpected. There were numerous articles with my ociates name plastered on them. It winds up that back in March of 2010 he was arrested for trying to lure a 12 year old he met on the internet to a park to hav with her. The park is in north jersey and he lives in trenton. The ride is 2 hours long. It winds up that the FBI was posing to be the12yo girl. He was charged with three felonies for the girl, 1 felony for fleeing and alluding, and a misdemeanor for resisting arrest. His bail was $100,000. he put up his house and car for it nd he didbt miss a day of work that month so he prolly made bail next morning. Nobody noticed any red flags. So now my question is is if I should tell my store manager ( i dont wanna look like a snooper). And if I dont, how do i still work with him without going off on him. Should I try to let it slide? He told me he had some type of court to go to in two weeks. He wouldnt say why. He will be out of the store soon and in the state pen most likely. ALso how long to you think he'll away ?

well i have this friend who is also a roommate (college) and it's like whats hers is hers and whats yours is hers. She also cannot take positive/negative criticism that well even if its for her own good, and she starts to elevate her voice when in situations like that/ For Example: Me and my other friend(who is the other roommate) told her she needs to watch how she says things, not what she says. she starts to get loud and her body language change and it just make the situation worse, and we are just starting to not want to be bothered with her...help!!!

Definitely go to the birth center. I have had three birth center births and one in the car. I liked being able to move around, not being strapped to a monitor, and being allowed to eat and drink while in labor. Besides the infant mortality rate is much lower in a birth center.

Yes, I think every parent does at one or other stage. Do not feel bad. I hated the stage between 18 months up until about 2 and half years. There were so many communication errors between me and my daughter. I didn't understand what she wanted and they get frustated. They also have to learn how to handle their feelings and in the prosess you have to work through a few temper tantrums. NOT NICE. But then suddenly everything fell into place, she knows her boundaries (altough she still tests them sometimes), we understand each other and they are turning into their own little persons. You are almost there! Just remember that every stage has is own advantages and disadvantages. Some people are better with babies and some are better with grown children. I have never been a babies person, and enjoy my bigger child immensely. I will definitely have some more children though, as no two children will ever be same and I do love her so.

Peach Tree has TOO MUCH fruit - branches breaking- Will they all make it?

Our on peach tree ( a Persian variety- white) this year has produced an unbelievable number of fruits- without exaggeration, this small to medium size tree (less than five years old) has hundreds of fruit - some very close to each other. Two branches have already broken from the weight of the fruit and I have used poles to shore up others. Even If I manage to prevent other branches from breaking (the fruits are still very small - will probably double or triple in size and weight as they ripen), can a tree support this many fruit, and can they all mature? Do I need to do anything special?

I can not run due to the arthritis in my knees, swimming is out of the question due to financial reasons - so I walk, but that gets boring. So any ideas for other cardio would be great. Also - need to work on abs but get migraines whenever I do sit-ups. Yes I have had aerobic instructors watch me do them & they say that I am doing them right & not pulling on my neck, etc... but still get migraines anyway. Also get migraines with strenuous cardio workouts. I really want to lose weight, but it just seems that there are obstacles around every corner. Wrestlemania 27 quick review?

This year was very over-hyped and under-delivered, in my book. I got into the Orton vs. Punk match and the RKO at the end was awesome. Even the 'Taker vs. Triple H match just didn't do it for me. I find it funny that in order to draw some sort of hype for the match, there had to be a stipulation. The past two years, Shawn and 'Taker delivered with no stipulations (besides Career vs. Streak) and it was edge-of-your-seats, 5-star rating matches. This is what made me a fan so many years ago and honestly, I didn't see any matches that lived up to that this year. It's sad really, because from previous 'Mania's I could pick at least one match out and say it was "Match of the Year" quality. I could pick a match out of the bunch and say it was worth the money spent and this year, I really expected it to be more, but it left me feeling like it was another bad production by "WWE Inc." and I felt like it was no better than a standard pay-per-view and not the "Grand Daddy of Them All."

I think it could be contractions, but its more in my back/bum than stomach. The pain is really soar and only lasts around a minute goes and comes back about 8 - 10 minutes later it only started an hour or so ago though. I have a Pietro Beretta mod. 92fs-cal 9 Parabellum spring power air soft pistol that used to work very well. Now, though, not so much. I think it needs to happen sooner or later. Too many harmless smokers are taking up our tax dollars in prison it's ridiculous. And the reason why it is illegal itself should be a reason to legalize it. Most people don't know that marijuana was made illegal because of racist ads one man put out. Anyway it is impossible to overdose from marijuana while I can't say the same about alcohol and other LEGAL drugs. It's also not addictive like most things in our daily lives. If it were legalized I would worry a little less about my kids getting into it at a young age because then it would be regulated, right now it's easier to get than cough syrup. What to do when you're written up?

I got a written warning yesterday for talking/agruing with a fellow co-worker. This is the second time we have been warned, the first was a verbal. However, yesterday was different. I got a phone call and was tol that my sister may have cancer. My co-worker could tell I was upset and asked me what was wrong and I said I didn't want to talk about it. She called me and I said, please leave me alone. She called me again and I said, please leave me alone I don't want to talk about it and I slammed the phone down. There were NO customers around at the time, NONE. An employee who works in another deparmtment told my boss about this and we were written up. I want to go to my bosses boss about this situation because it's not like I did it on purpose. I was having an extremely bad day by finding out my sister may have cancer and I hope she can see that you are entitled to have a bad day and take this warning out of my file. I do not think that having a family issue like this warrants a write up especially when in the write up it says the co-worker who reported us asked "what's going on?" so she didn't know what the situation was. Do you think it's worth an appeal to my bosses boss and do you think she may take this out of my file given the situation?
