Why are the Aquinos reluctant to accept the fact that had nothing to do with the death of Sen. Aquino?

The Aquino family wanted those soldiers incarcerated for 20 years to admit that President Ferdinand Marcos was the brain in the murder of Sen. Aquino. Twenty years in prison and yet the accused never said it was Marcos.
