Has it come to this.......Penn St making a BCS championship?

Lets look at who USC lost to, Oregon State, in my recollection Penn State Crushed Oregon State so why is USC so superior? The fact is there are teams in all conferences that have the ability to win a BCS Bowl game. Its a matter of how they match up, Penn State has played well and has a strong defense of team they have a great shot of going undefeated and if they do they should earn a chance to play in the mystical title game. Until there is a playoff there is no real champion just a make believe one.
