In reality you just need the clothes on your back. You will buy everything you need in the px as soon as you get there. You'll be fitted for running shoes that you'll have to buy. It'll all come out of your first paycheck. Yes you do want shower shoes. Really you do. At least that's how it was at Benning in 2007. Good luck.
