Is my ten month old gifted?

He is unlike any baby i have ever seen ! ever since he was born i suspected he may be "advanced" he was always sooo alert , never wanted to sleep when thats all most newborns would do , looked around at everything all the time and would look at me cooing for the longest time, he always tried to sit up or lift his head all the time. he was sitting up unisted by 5 months , crawling at 7 months , pulling himself up onto furniture by about 7 months , he is 10 months now and is waving hi , saying night night,yum,bubba,mamma,dadda and if you say no or if you offer him something he does not want he shakes his head no, tries to say dog,climbs on everything like his sisters toddler bed , the little step stool in the bathroom he tries to climb on the couch but its to high he can get off the couch by himself though! he will be walking very soon he lets go of furniture and will take about 5 steps on his own then falls , he loves to put one thing into another like those linkadoo things or a small cup into a larger cup , i have a toy with stackable rings of diff sizes that you slide onto a pole ,a couple hrs ago he watched his sister do it a couple times then took it and put the rings on in the right order then took them off and started over and over and over again , we have a very small hockey stick and i found him with the hockey stick hitting a ball around my living room the other day ! he mimicks everything , goes to the radio when he wants to dance, he just seems soo advanced and soo alert , its crazy! how do you know if you have a so called "gifted child" and what type of activities would be good to do with him? he does try to color he knows to put the crayon to paper and knows the motion u use to color but doesnt hold the crayon the right way yet :)
