Do you know about the League of the South?

I didn't know about it. It was interesting reading though. I can't say that I completely believe that succession wouldn't be a good thing for this country. It is obvious that we have been divided sharply on beliefs and ideals almost 50/50 since long before the Civil War. Wouldn't it be best if there were 2 countries, each of which could have a government that taxed and governed in a way that they wanted? I can't help but wonder if it would be better without all of the bickering. But I don't really know a lot about this subject. I'm sure that many people would disagree with me. I'm not sure that I agree with the writers of this page, which brings up another question. Would we have just as much bickering, regardless? At least we still have the freedom to disagree. I'm afraid that we won't always have our freedoms to say and believe how we want. Just a thought....
