Were there m protests when 6,000 civilians died during the U.S. liberation of Fallujah in 2003?

I don't remember world outrage at what happened in Fallujah, yet when Israel's incursion into Gaza results in 1,100 deaths (the majority of which were terrorists) the world goes crazy. It seems like a double standard.
